It’s important that the Rega sits dead flat on a tabletop or wall bracket, too, as it is with any turntable. Needless to say, buying a stylus gauge to double-check the measurement would be money well spent. While we’d prefer numbers on the dial for guidance, we do find it reasonably accurate. Once the tonearm is in a floating position, setting the Carbon MM cartridge’s tracking force to the recommended 2g simply entails turning the weight a whole circle. The no-nonsense set-up requires minimal effort, save for ensuring the speed is set correctly (speed change is manual) and fixing the weight to balance the tonearm. That’s the case with both of these turntables, so certainly it’s not a reason to discriminate between the two. That should please newcomers who want to enjoy vinyl with minimal fuss, but be aware that the Planar 2 doesn’t have a built-in phono stage, so it needs to hook up to a stereo amplifier that has one. Rega also designed new feet to improve stability.Ĭrucially, the Planer 2 is fitted with Rega’s new RB220 tonearm, which features ultra-low-friction ball bearings, a stiffer bearing housing and an automatic bias setting, making it virtually plug-and-play. Less immediately obvious changes include the 24v low-noise motor, newly designed central bearing, and upgraded platter with a new floating glass ‘Optiwhite’ design. It’s a smartly understated design, and solid build quality is a sign of Rega’s long-established success at this price bracket. The only things you’d ring straight away are the acrylic-laminated plinth – now supposedly more rigid and, like the Planar 3, sporting a more modish black or white glossy finish – and the power switch, now underneath the plinth.

I guess my question is.Has anybody noticed this issue with this pack? And. Not so, I have re-installed and those items still won't load in 64bit.just fine in 32bit. Now of course I figured I could just reload the Nature Builder pack and things would be fine. There may be others in this pack that won't load but those are the ones I caught right away. Now the "Pampas Grass with Flowers" loads just fine in either 32bit or 64bit. If I just try to add a single one of these items in an empty project I get the message. From what I can tell all three versions of the "Cattails" and the "Pampas Grass" in the Nature pack won't load. As far as I can tell all the project files that won't load in 64bit iClone have these grass props in them. At the time I hadn't figured, what I think is the reason for them not loading in the 64bit version, maybe it's certain " grass props" (now I call 'em props but they load under the "tree" tab) in the Nature Builder pack. I found that if I loaded those projects into the 32bit version of iClone they would load just fine. vns file please switch to the Project page and try again." I guess at some point I started using the "64bit" beta version of iClone a year or so back and from time to time noticed that certain older projects from the 32bit days wouldn't load. Lately I have noticed that certain plants from the pack won't load into iClone 64bit version (new version 5.5 64bit included). It's been a great asset with the shrubs, marine plants and flowers. Got it, I think, as a prize in the SketchUp Contest in 2011. I have the older "Nature Builder Gardening" content pack. I think I have just discovered the reason I've had a problem for months now.course maybe not |
